Five Day Crit is a work of interactive fiction which describes an imagined five day long marathon art school critique. The hyperlinked text format of the narrative results in multiple story options being available to the reader.

Beginning with quotations from the second chapter of Sarah Thorntonʼs 2008 book Seven Days in the Art World, the work imagines the rhythms of the art school group critique format gone wild over the course of five days.

Without food or water, maddened students struggle to keep up the discussion of content, form and aesthetics which usually plays out in the studio crit environment as they suffer through hunger and sleep deprivation.

Part of the suite of works referenced in Floor Sheet/ Floor Talk / Floor Show.
