floor sheet / floor talk / floor show

Floor Sheet/ Floor Talk/ Floor Show is MTV Cribs meets the Home Shopping Network meets the gallery floor talk.

In the work, the ubiquitous 'list of works' or 'floor sheet' of artwork information for the gallery space - titles, materials, year of production -  is delivered as a deadpan music video and installed directly into the gallery space, alongside the (other) works it describes. 

Continuing an interest in surface, description, recitation and the collateral language which surrounds art making, Floor Sheet/ Floor Talk/ Floor Show also contains a moment where the video folds in on itself and I state the title and stand in front of the work which is the 'list of works'.
